Elliott Yamin

Last night I got to enjoy my Mother's Day gift... Tickets to see Elliott Yamin live at Innsbrook, here in Richmond (Elliott's hometown). For those of you that don't know, Elliott got third place on American Idol behind Kathrine McPhee and winner Taylor Hicks a couple seasons ago. He has been my favorite contestant ever on Idol, so I have been dying to see him for years. After last night, we came to the conclusion that he has one of the best voices that has ever been on AI. He didn't miss a note. It was an unbelievable concert.

This was also Olivia's first concert! We had beautiful weather. Olivia was great, dancing through the last song. It was the best Mother's Day gift I could have gotten, I loved every minute of it!
Thanks Tony and Olivia...

Olivia tailgating...

She danced through the entire show opener-Duchess of York.

Here is a short video to prove how great he is live... Just as good as the CD!
His newest release off his brand new CD-Fight for Love

My piggy tails...

Playing with Keagan this morning...

Here is a first glimpse at Olivia's piggy tails!
It's amazing how big and grown up she seems...

You can call me Elton!

Here are Olivia's new sunglasses we picked up for our beach trip.
Each pair match one of her bathing suits!
You can call her Elton John...

Cheese...

I think Daddy likes them, he needs a bigger pair though!

I THINK SHE LIKES THEM!!!

Olivia counting...

Here is Olivia counting to ten again...
This video is a little easier to hear, and she has learned where the number 4 goes, finally!

Our Swim School Graduate

Olivia is a swim school graduate...
We had our last lesson Tuesday night and she rocked!
Now when we go to Hilton Head for vacation hopefully she'll be more comfortable in the pool. (That was the goal!)

Here are some pictures from our last class.

Boy this water is cold... Brrrr!

She learned how to find and grab the side of the pool.

Jumping into the pool to Mommy...

Tony Turns 30!!!

On May 6th, Tony turned the big 3-0... Since it was a Wednesday, I went to our favorite ice cream parlor and picked him up a small ice cream cake, which Olivia helped him blow out the candles and eat.

Then, over Mother's Day weekend, since we were going home to visit family, I had a bigger surprise cake planned... Since he is a BMW E30 enthusiast, I decided to make a cake using something he loves. I made all the cakes then my Mom and I decorated them on Friday. We had a blast and look forward to many more cake endeavors...

Using the E30 theme, I bought a model car (a 3-series convertible), edible chocolate rocks and a bunch of other supplies to make something special. You only turn 30 once...

We wrote " You've entered your 3-series but... you aren't OVER THE HILL"

Thirty candles would have been a little too much...
