Happy Smurfday!!!!

For about the past 6 months, Olivia has been in love with the Smurfs. So to celebrate her 2nd birthday, we decided to turn it into a Smurfday Party!

With the Smurf theme throughout, including Tony's old Smurfs from his childhood, we were able to turn the house into a blue and white frenzy...

As usual, she was more excited about the balloons than pretty much anything else going on.

She wouldn't blow out the candles, so...

Daddy had to help!

She wanted nothing to do with her Smurfette cake, but it looked cute anyway!

Time for presents...
She loves her new parrot from Nana and PopPop (it repeats everything you say)

Her new backpack for trips

We decided to buy her her first tennis racket early... Hopefully we will get a few nice dry days to let her try it out.

Since she loves clocks, we got her her very own coo-coo clock for her big girl room.

Along with the Smurf theme, Memaw got her Smurf charms to put on her charm bracelet.

Clothes...
Minus the Elmo and Dora nightgowns, she wasn't bothered by them and tossed them aside.

She has loved her doodlepro... maybe we can get an early jump on writing our alphabet.

She got a Dora backpack from Pappy and walks around the house singing the backpack song from the show with it.

She loves this penguin/ball game from Aunt Sandy and Uncle Steve...

An Olivia DVD from Aunt Ber... good for car trips!

More clothes from Great Grandma, very cute Winnie the Pooh outfit

Uncle Tripp got her the Little Miss Sunshine book and doll...
We've read it every night since we got home for bedtime!

Her earrings from Pappy... she had fun with them all evening.

Princess Olivia and Aunt Ber

The next morning...
The balloon aftermath!

Nice static hair!

We had a wonderful weekend getting to see family and friends. Thank you to everyone for helping make Olivia's 2nd birthday a memorable day. We are lucky to have such wonderful families to share in these special moments with. We love you all!

Olivia is 2

On the 16th, Olivia turned 2... How is that possible?

On her actual birthday we went to Chuck E Cheeses to let her run around and play.

Big Girl Bed

Olivia is officially a big girl.
In the middle of the night last week, she woke up and decided to climb/jump out of her crib (which was on the lowest setting possible), so we decided to make the transition into her big girl bed for obvious safety precautions. She has adapted to it fine, and we haven't had any major issues with her getting out of bed for her naps or at bedtime.

It's hard to believe she is about to turn 2... Where is the time going?!?!?!

Here she is her first night in her new bed.

Wedding Singer for Hire!!!

I've decided to hire Olivia out as a wedding and special event singer, if anybody is interested. She has a wide variety of toddler/preschooler songs she can add to your special event.
Take a look at some of her work...

Here she is singing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star"

Here are her versions of Elmo's World and Itsy Bitsy Spider.

You know our number... lol
(I probably won't be expecting any phone calls any time soon, huh?)
