Football in the Fall

Saturday, Tony, Frank and I went to the VT-Nebraska game. I do have to admit that when Tech was down with only 2 minutes left, we did leave the stadium. We learned our lesson. Tech scored in a thrilling last second win... Next time we'll know better!
Bring on Miami

Proud of their cigars...

"I want a pink pony!!!"

Last week I went home to spend some time with family, and while we were there we made a trip to Toys R Us to pick up some early birthday presents. She came across this horse that she loved!
I believe she will love the real thing one day...

Mischief and a (almost) 2 year old!!!

Oh my...

I have learned that you can't blink, let alone leave Olivia unattended for more than 30 seconds!!!
I leave the living room to go to the kitchen to grab myself a drink and this is what happens...

Blackmail photo...
Notice she has not only removed her diaper, but to get to it- she removed her onesie and socks.
Classic streaker!!!

Football has begun...

For the first VT game of the season Tony headed to Atlanta for the VT-Alabama game, and Olivia and I got to have fun with Nana. We spent Friday at Busch Gardens and then Saturday we went shopping before the game...

Here is Olivia with her first creation at Build-A-Bear Workshop. Fittingly, she made a turkey and named it Hokie!

Here she is "typing" away, naming her new friend.

After creating her turkey, we went over to play in the fountains and eat some ice cream.

I couldn't tell which she liked better, the ice cream or the fountains

When we got home and cleaned up, we tried to get a picture of her and Hokie before they headed off to bed.

Even though the game wasn't great, we went to Maymont on Sunday to relax and have some more fun.

She insists on smelling all the flowers!

Playing ball after our picnic lunch...

Off to see the flower gardens

and play in the water...

We enjoyed the nature center.

It was a fun weekend!
